Premarin Vaginal Cream is used for treating vaginal symptoms due to menopause, including dryness, irritation or burning in the vaginal area, and painful intercourse. The active ingredient in the medicine is Conjugated Estrogens. It is a female sex hormone that is produced by the ovaries. This hormone is needed for several processes in the female body.

Your doctor will not recommend you to buy Premarin Vaginal Cream if you have a liver disease, uterine, breast, or any hormone-dependent cancer, abnormal or undiagnosed vaginal bleeding or a history of blood clots, strokes, or heart attack. Special tests and dosage adjustments will be required if you have any of the following medical conditions:
- Heart disease, circulation problems or high blood pressure
- Endometriosis
- Kidney or liver disease
- Asthma
- Seizure disorder or epilepsy
- Migraine headache
- Diabetes
- High triglycerides or cholesterol, or low or high calcium levels in the blood
- Underactive thyroid
- SLE or systemic lupus erythematosus
- Porphyria
- Gallbladder disease
Premarin Vaginal Cream may increase your risks of endometrial hyperplasia. It is a medical condition which may lead to uterine cancer. In order to prevent such a condition, your doctor may advise you to use Premarin Vaginal Cream along with a progestin.
Using Premarin Vaginal Cream for a long time may make you prone to blood clots or a stroke, especially if you are overweight or if you smoke. For this, your doctor may need to check your progress on a regular basis. Therefore, do not miss any scheduled appointments with your doctor.
Pregnant women are not advised to buy Premarin Vaginal Cream, as it may lead to birth defects in the unborn child. You should use a barrier form of contraception during treatment with this drug, such as condoms, diaphragms, or cervical caps.
