Wear loose-fitting clothes during treatment. Wash your hands immediately after using the lotion. Lotrisone Lotion is for external use only. Make sure that the lotion does not come in contact with your eyes and mouth. If it gets into your eyes, wash it off immediately in running tap water.
Indications & Dosage of Lotrisone Lotion
Lotrisone Lotion contains an anti-fungal drug (clotrimazole), that prevents the production of the membranes surrounding the fungal cells, and a corticosteroid (betamethasone) .
Lotrisone Lotion must be applied on the affected area two times a day - in the morning and evening. Use the lotion regularly to get the best results. Don’t discontinue the medication even if you find improvement in a few days. You must complete the course of medication as there are chances for the recurrence of infection if you stop the medication midway. If you are not finding any improvement after one week of using the lotion in the groin area and two weeks after using on the other parts of the body, consult your doctor. You must use the Lotrisone Lotion every day at same time. If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is time for next dose, skip the missed dose. Don’t apply an excess of of the medicine to make up for a missed dose.
You must keep Lotrisone Lotion at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep it away from direct light, heat and moisture. Don’t keep the lotion in the bathroom and kitchen. Make sure that it is kept away from the reach of children.
