Invega Sustenna Information
Invega Sustenna is atypical anti-psychotic drug. It is used for the treatment and management of schizophrenia. It is recommended for adult patients only, who have acute schizophrenia. The drug is a long-acting formulation with an extended release system. The generic medication acts upon some particular substances within the brain. However, the precise mode of action of the drug is not clear. It is suggested that the drug acts by blocking the effects of 5HT2A receptor (serotonin type-2 receptor) and D2 receptor (dopamine type-2 receptor). Thus, the drug shows its therapeutic effect in schizophrenia. Discount Invega Sustenna can be obtained from contracted pharmacies with a doctor’s prescription.
