Glumetza is a drug used singly or along with other medicines including insulin to treat Type 2 diabetes (inability to control the amount of blood glucose due to improper usage of insulin). If there is no response to Glumetza taken alone, another oral drug called sulfonylurea is added to the Glumetza.
