General Information on Femring
Femring is indicated in the treatment of menopause symptoms such as vaginal dryness, hot flashes, itching, irritation, and burning.
Estradiol Acetate, the main active ingredient in the medication is an estrogen hormone. It works to replenish estrogen levels in women whose ovaries are not capable of producing the hormone on their own. The drug is a prescription medication, so you should consult your doctor before you buy Femring.
Femring is a vaginal ring containing Estrogen, a hormone produced by ovaries. It is available in two strengths, Femring 0.05mg per day (releases 0.5mg Estradiol daily for 90 days) and Femring 0.01mg per day (releases 0.01mg per day for 90 days). The ring is inserted in the vagina and left in place for 90 days.

Women with medical history of a hormone-related cancer such as uterine or breast cancer, heart attack, blood clot, stroke or abnormal vaginal bleeding should not use Femring.
