Cytovene is an anti-viral drug. It is used to treat patients with infection of CMV (cytomegalovirus). It is effectively used in patients having AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). Also, the drug is used for treating patients who have undergone transplant and therefore are at higher risk to get the CMV disease.
