Each package contains 3 disposable syringes to be injected once a week for 3 weeks.

Synvisc is Hylan G-F 20 is similar to synovial fluid, a substance that occurs naturally in the joints. Synovial fluid acts as a lubricant and shock absorber. Hylan G-F 20 is injected into the knee joints for the treatment of pain in individuals with osteoarthritis. Be careful if you have allergies to birds or bird products, feathers, or egg products.
