How to use Rescriptor
Follow the instructions given by your doctor and in case of any queries regarding dosage, go through the instruction leaflet attached with it.
Rescriptor can be swallowed as a whole or dissolved in water, and has no link with food. If you intend to dissolve it for consumption, make sure you add at least 3 ounces of water to it.
Let the tablet dissolve fully, and then drink it immediately. Drink some more water in the same glass to ensure that the entire dose is taken.
Rescriptor warnings and precautions
Rescriptor should be taken in recommendation from your doctor in the prescribed amount. An increase in the dosage might result in increased risk of side effects. Do it only when your doctor tells you to.
As Rescriptor does not protect you from contagion through sexual contact, you are advised to use better contraceptive measures. Avoid using shared needles or any other personal items.
You might witness a change in body fat or some rashes; contact your doctor right away as these problems, if left unchecked, can prove to be troublesome.

What do I do if I have missed a Rescriptor dose?
If you have missed your Rescriptor dose, you should take it instantly. If it’s time for the next dose, skip the missed one and go back to the routine.

If you have taken a Rescriptor overdose, you should contact your nearest poison control centre and make sure you consult your physician.
Rescriptor interactions
Before you commence with your treatment with Rescriptor, tell your doctor about all your prescribed and non-prescribed dosages.
There are some medicines that might react with Rescriptor. These include rifampin, St. John’s wort, and HIV protease inhibitors. These drugs are said to decrease the efficacy of Rescriptor.
Furthermore, there are some medicines that can augment the risks associated with the medicine. These are pimozide, cisapride, ergot alkaloids, HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, HIV protease inhibitors, sildenafil, benzodiazepines, and H1 antagonists.
Rescriptor side effects
In case of severe problems like eye infection, muscle or joint pain, inflammation of the eye, swelling, rash, blisters or allergic reactions like tightness in the chest, hives, skin rash, swelling of mouth, face, lips, or tongue, contact your doctor.
The less serious or common side effects of Rescriptor include diarrhea, stomach pain, redistribution of body fat, depression, nausea, headache, and bronchitis.
These problems though are not very grave but in case they persist or grow more with time, seek medical aid at once.
