If you have taken an overdose of Norpace, medical attention is required immediately.
Norpace CR interactions
Before you start taking Norpace, you should inform your doctor if you are using any calcium channel blockers like diltiazem or verapamil. Other drugs like Rifampin, Phenytoin and Phenobarbital may affect the amount of Norpace in the body and hence its effectiveness.
Most importantly you should not stop or alter the dosages without consulting with your doctor.
Norpace CR side effects
Side effects from Norpace include difficulty in breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face. A new or a worsening irregular heartbeat pattern can also be experienced while taking this drug. You may also experience chest pain, shortness of breath and severe dizziness. In such cases, immediate medical attantion is required. Apart from these you may also witness a mild dizziness, feel tired or have a prolonged headache. Your vision can sometimes go blurred and you may face difficulty in urinating. Drying of mouth, itches and muscle cramps are some less serious side effects of Norpace.
