Apply Cantharone carefully on the wart and avoid contact with other parts of the skin. Cover it with a leak proof and waterproof bandage and leave it till the skin under the wart dries up.

Do not use Cantharone if you are allergic to cantharadin or if you are afflicted with diabetes, any circulatory problems or suffer from peripheral arterial diseases. Do not apply Cantharone on the genital area or around it; over open wounds, unusual warts that have hair growing from them, moles and on warts on the mucous membranes.

Pregnant and lactating women should not use Cantharone unless prescribed by a registered medical practitioner. The medicine might harm a fetus or nursing infant.
