What is Beconase Aq?

Beconase is an anti-inflammatory nasal spray. It belongs to a family of drugs known as corticosteroids.

What is Beconase Aq used for?

Beconase is indicated for the treatment and prevention of seasonal and year-round allergy symptoms like stuffy and runny nose; itchy eyes, nose, throat; and sneezing. It also prevents the return of nose polyps (growths in the nose) after surgical removal.

How does Beconase Aq work?

Beconase works by reducing the swelling or inflammation in the nasal passage and thus, relieves allergic symptoms.

How to use Beconase Aq

Read the information and instruction booklet carefully and follow your doctor’s advice as strictly as possible.

Shake the container well before use. Remove the safety clip of the plastic cap and tilt your head slightly forward while keeping the bottle upright. Press one nostril and insert the applicator in the other nostril.

Spray the contents gently as many times as prescribed by the doctor. Inhale from the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Do not spray the contents directly on the nasal septum or the middle wall of the nose.

Repeat the procedure for the other nostril. Wipe the applicator and cover it with the cap.
